Prior to attending law school David Sloane was a Police Lieutenant with a strong background in criminal
investigations and crime scene analysis. He has become respected and known as a formidable opponent in the
court
room for challenging misconduct or illegal actions by law enforcement. David has taught at police academies
in
addition to continuing legal education seminars for law enforcement and attorneys throughout the nation.
Attorney Greg Torres
A native Texan from Brady, a small town in the center of The Lone Star State known as “The Heart of Texas”
James Gregory Torres is the associate attorney for the Law Offices of David Sloane. Greg is licensed to
practice in both the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas. This is an attorney who brings energy and
passion to the courtroom and is committed to advocating for his clients and working their cases hands on day
and night until he receives the results they deserve.
Cameron Pinkerton
Cameron Pinkerton is the Legal Assistant/Office Manager for the Law Office of David Sloane.
He has worked in the field of substance abuse treatment and drug policy reform since a young age
working with the non-profit organization Changing Course Foundation for over half a decade.
Erin Dohnalek
With experience working in the Dallas County Public Defender’s office, the 303rd District Court in Dallas County, and in the Rockwall
County Criminal District Attorney’s Office Erin brings knowledge and experience that make her a valuable asset to the Law Offices of David Sloane.
Hannah Shin
Hannah Shin is an intern at for the Law Office of David Sloane. Born and raised in Dallas, Hannah is currently attending Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth. With aspirations to become a licensed criminal defense attorney, she will make a great fit for our office.
The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers has worked to build
coalitions of legal organizations in order to provide a forum for important
legal issues.
The Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of NORML is a grassroots, educational
non-profit organization dedicated to fighting cannabis prohibition in the
Lone
Star State.
NORML supports the removal of all criminal penalties for the private
possession
and responsible use of marijuana by adults, including the cultivation for
personal use, and the casual nonprofit transfers of small amounts.
DCDLA a unified front committed to protecting and ensuring, by rule of law,
individual rights guaranteed by the Texas and Federal Constitutions in
criminal
cases.
